Design System, Brand Guidelines
Visual identity for the OpenAI Executive Summit 2024. This event was hosted by OpenAI in 4 cities around the world and aimed to educate executives from leading global companies on how their businesses can grow by adopting ChatGPT and other OpenAI products. The visual identity had to reflect a sophisticated, premium, and distinctly OpenAI look and feel, while the design system had to scale across physical and digital assets for the 4 event locations.

System Overview & Wordmark
The OpenAI Exec Summit design direction embodies progress and optimism, aiming to convey growth while demonstrating structure and organization. It remains true to the essence of the OpenAI brand, using foundational graphic elements with a focus on intersecting arrows pointing upwards. The event wordmark is composed of the words “OpenAI Exec Summit” set in Söhne Buch typeface in the color grey #000000.
Color Palette
The color system consists of three main palettes, each serving specific purposes.
The Neutral Gray palette from the official OpenAI colors serves as the base across both print and digital formats. The Keynote palette is crafted from the neutrals, incorporating one accent color. Lastly, the Holographic Gradient is used exclusively for layouts featuring the core graphic motifs.

Motion Application
The motion system is imbued with a sense of elegance through the use of consistently thin line weights, subtle dimensionality, and a consistently fluid upward movement.
